Yes, passion drives me. Passion comes from the heart. Passion motivates. Passion encourages creativity. Passion dares to be different. Passion is a positive mindset. If you are passionate about your work, success is sure to follow. Passion gives you focus and keeps you positive. Even when times are tough or difficult, passion will pull you through. You never worry about yesterday; you always think about: What can I do next? Even after more than two decades of doing business, I have never lost my passion.
From Passion
to Success
A Message from Sivan Nakamura
Here is my passionate story.
I grew up in Israel in an ordinary family with a lot of passionate vibes. I moved to Japan when I was 23.
If I’m thinking who inspired my independent spirit.
Definitely my mother.
When I was a child, she was running a small grocery store, while also being a housewife to six children.
I watched her all the time managing the store, the suppliers with great hospitality and communication.
Her passion kept customers coming back.
From a young age she taught me that financial independence would be the core of my personal development.
Since I was 15, I started to earn my own money.
My first job was waitressing, which in fact taught me a lot about communications and hospitality.
I came here with no idea what I was going to do, but knew I would do something big, because I have always had big ambition and
a “never give up” spirit.
Back then…
No Japanese skills. No degree. No connections.
But what did I have?
I had passion and discipline.
I had a drive to learn and I was not afraid to fail.
Here’s an example of how bold I was.
In my early days in Japan, I was having trouble even getting interviews. I wanted to do something. Anything.
Then I came across a 100-yen shop and I thought, what a great opportunity. Like I had found a gold mine. I bought a few vases and flowers and made some arrangements. Then I got on my bicycle and started knocking on doors trying to sell my little creations. I didn’t know how things worked in Japan, but I tried. Guess what? I didn’t get one sale. I couldn’t even get in the door. But that’s not the point.
I had guts, I was fearless and I believed in myself.
Yet, I need to find out where my real opportunities were. I knew that I was always made to feel different, but instead of taking offense I took advantage. I choose to surround myself with peopleI could learn from.
And guess what? It worked. Doors started to open for me. I found my core value was communications.
Communications connects and creates the next. That’s why it’s the core to building businesses.
Creating the story. Telling the story. Selling the story and keeping the story alive.
That’s what excites me. Helping companies start communicating and keep growing.
As “The Art of Communication is the
Language of Leadership.”
Our vision is to create a hub where different minds meet. Where diverse ideas are shared. Where dreamers become leaders and open doors to others.
This is the culture we want to inspire and support.
A place where anyone can dare to be different.
